#OneRicoh: Ricoh Australia gets Royal College of Physicians working from home in record time
#OneRicoh is a series of stories about Ricoh employees demonstrating the Ricoh Way values during times of global crisis.
The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) is the professional medical College of over 17,000 physicians and 8,000 trainee physicians.
Following the escalation of Covid-19, RACP requested that Ricoh Australia (RAP) deliver a tactical solution for both Cisco AnyConnect and Cisco Umbrella to allow all of their 400 Australian & New Zealand users to work from home. This was critical, with 90% of their users unable to work from home.
RACP board provided the CIO, IT team and RAP with what ended up being a 1.5 week deadline for what was scoped to be a 9 week project.
Despite this extremely tight time constraint, RAP was able to deploy the tools and have all users up and running within one-and-a-half weeks – an amazing achievement. This clearly demonstrates Ricoh’s commitment to customer service and our deep technical understanding that allows such deployments to be success.
